A QUARTER SHARE OF BEEF is an excellent way to buy natural, grass fed and dry-aged beef in bulk.
Every ounce of beef comes from clean, healthy and young cattle raised on pristine pastures in the foothills of Mount Elliot. Our herd is free of antibiotics and hormonal growth promotants and we do not use drenches. Our cattle, sheep, hens and chickens are all rotation-grazed to both regenerate and rest the plants and soil.
Your pack will include a minimum of 46 kilos of beef.
Traditionally a quarter share would be taken from the rump or forequarter, however we evenly divide each cut from the side of a beef carcase to make the two quarter shares. This means instead of receiving only forequarter cuts or only rearquarter cuts your pack will include an even share of beef cuts from a side.
A typical QUARTER BEEF SHARE includes approximately:
The list above is a guideline only. The final weight on every animal is different, the following weights and packs are not guaranteed, but intended to serve as an example.
The lead time for this order will be 2-4 weeks. Upon payment we will schedule slaughtering and butchering, and dry-age your side for a minimum of 14 days.
FREE DELIVERY is available with your QUARTER BEEF SHARE to Ayr, Giru and Townsville. We will contact you when your beef has been scheduled with the butcher and arrange a delivery/collection date. If delivery dates are not suitable for you, please arrange collection from the farm.
There is $100 non-refundable for each QUARTER BEEF SHARE purchased. If you cancel your order within the 4 week time frame $100 will be non-refundable, the remainder will be credited to the card you used.
We do not have organic certification. Our focus is on enhancing the soil, water and biodiversity of grasses, not to simply remove the use of harsh chemicals in our farming practices. We encourage you to arrange a visit to St Margaret's Creek and ensure that we meet your standards.
